ManageWP is a dynamic and exciting project. Rather than having a strict milestone-based schedule, we adopted a flexible pace of development based on ideas voted by our users and our own vision of where we think ManageWP should go.

Currently our short to mid-term objective is implementing the features that we believe will greatly enhance the usability of the tool both for private and commercial use. These features include (in no particular order):
Powerful scheduled backups which will include support for email, Amazon S3 and Dropbox backups.(done)SEO tools – provide valuable SEO insights and make suggestions using known best practices.(done)- Web analytics integration - provide more detailed statistics about sites and highlight actionable insights.
Integration with Google Analytics(done!) and other analytics tools. - Set of powerful security tools – take care of user’s blogs and scan for most common threats
- Integrated task manager – offer planner with scheduled events for increased productivity.
Downtime notifications – detect site downtime and inform the user. Include SMS notifications.(done)- Improved automation – automatically perform updates and other tasks as soon as they become available.
- Localization – translate ManageWP in other languages becomes increasingly important as our user base expands.
- Speed – improve the overall responsiveness of the interface and lower the loading times where possible.
- Integration with Web 2.0 services – Integrate popular Web 2.0 services directly into the dashboard
Historical Events
- Vladimir Prelovac began development of ManageWP in April 2010.
- ManageWP was founded and accepted its first users on July 6, 2010.
- 10,000 managed sites on March 31st, 2011
- First Enterprise license sold in May 2011.
- Surpassed 50,000 managed sites in September 2011.
- ManageWP began taking pre-orders for beta users on December 6, 2011.
- ManageWP officially launched on January 17th, 2012.

- ManageWP, as of December 2011, manages over 90,000 WordPress sites, and is quickly approaching the 100,000 mark, with roughly 500 sites being added on a daily basis.
