Q. Why do I receive an “Authentication Failed” (public key) error?

To fix this error take the following steps:

  1. log into your site
  2. deactivate the Worker plugin
  3. make sure you have the latest version of the worker plugin. If you don’t, update it.
  4. reactivate the Worker plugin
  5. return to the ManageWP Dashboard, remove your site and add it again.
