Q. Why am I getting a “site could not be added 301 message”?
This means that the URL of your site redirects to another location. This could be an issue with www vs non-www redirection.
Also, some users use a 301 redirect from their home page to a static page on their blog. The best way to do this is to open Settings ->Reading in the WordPress Dashboard and set the home page.
