Q. I have cloned a site successfully, but all the URLs on my cloned  site are giving me a “404 – not found” error?

This problem may occur if the .htaccess rewrites haven’t been copied successfully.

The solution is very simple, you just need to log in to your wp-admin, go to Settings -> Permalinks and re-save it.

the permalinks settings screen. The mouse hovers over the save changes button

This will recreate the permalink structure  on the cloned site and should fix the problem.
