Q. My sites aren’t loading in the dashboard. What can I do to solve this problem?

It’s not uncommon for people to host multiple sites on the same server. This is the case for users with shared hosting.

When you click on Update Dashboard (in order to pull the newest data from your sites into ManageWP), or update WordPress core, themes and plugins, ManageWP requests information from each site simultaneously. This ensures the fastest loading speed.

When too many requests are sent to the same IP address some of them may time out or fail.

To prevent this from happening you can limit the number of requests that can be made to the same IP address.

To do this, hover-over your username at the top right corner of your ManageWP Dashboard, click on Settings and click on the tab Advanced. Here you’ll find three sliders which you can adjust per IP address, one for Read limit, one per Write limit and you can also choose the time delay between requests.

Max requests per IP

If you are having problems, decrease the Read / Write limit and increase the Time delay until your sites are able to complete the loading process.
