We have found a bug that would cause multiple backup files to be created if there is no ‘zip’ command available on the server The backup files will add in size with each backup which can cause storage space problems.
The issue has been resolved in the latest 3.9.2 Worker update. Also we fixed an issue where some users would have blogs upgraded to development version of WordPress.
