Supporting Our Customers During Coronavirus Outbreak

As COVID-19 continues to spread, we wanted to reach out to you and let you know what we’re doing to support you and be helpful during these tough times. We know you’re likely working remotely yourself, reaching out to your clients, discussing their concerns, updating their sites or simply lending a helping hand.

What are we doing to help out

We understand that cash flow is a pressing issue for many of you right now. As you stay on top of things, we want to ease the pressure in your day and help you deliver for your clients.

That is why we decided that for March and April of 2020, all ManageWP premium add-ons are free.

Yup. You heard us correctly. No matter how many websites or add-ons you have:

ManageWP is completely free in March and April of 2020.**

You won’t be charged for these months. Not now. Not ever.

*The premium features will automatically renew and you will be charged for the services after the free period ends on April 30th. You will not be charged for the premium services if they are canceled prior to April 30th

**This include any operational costs incurred during months March and April 2020. You will be able to preview invoices on April 5th and May 5th respectively, but nothing will be charged to your credit cards. It does not include March 5th invoices that are showing the February account costs.

Service and support

We worked hard for the past couple of weeks to make sure our entire team is 100% remote and fully set up for efficient and secure work, so you don’t experience any disruptions. There will be no change in support, service, or experience for you and or any of your sites. Our team will continue to make sure everything is running smoothly and work on the projects we already have in place.

We’ve taken the necessary steps to keep our employees safe so they’re available to help you 24/7, and we’ll continue to adapt as needed.

And that is not all.

    Thanks for the free trial. I’m guessing that if I create site backups during the free period, then do not sign up for the premium service afterward, that the backups made during the free trial will be inaccessible. Correct?

      You’ll get to keep all the restore points made during the free period, of course (for the standard period od 90 days).

      Hi Thomas, our system is scheduled to process payments on the 5th of each month. And payments collection has been disabled by our dev team for the charges that should occur on the 5th of April and May. The two should not be related.

      Please reach out to our support team at helpdesk@managewp.com so they can explore what exactly happened. If there is an issue – we want to know about so we can resolve it ASAP.

    This is going to be a bit odd, But I am wondering if there is any way we could;

    A) Keep paying, but maybe have you guys donate that amount to people who need it in May. Not that its a lot of money or anything, but still.

    B) Could companies that are still doing well maybe offer to double our bill or something for a few months starting in May to perhaps do something for the business who are less fortunate?

      Hey Chip, don’t worry. It is not odd at all. This is one of the options we considered before reaching the decision of offering 2 months free to everyone. Since we did not have the bandwidth to identify who amongst our 20M users is suffering hardship we thought it would be only fair to extend the same offer to everyone. After all, this pandemic is now firmly global and everyone is affected (if not the same).

      A) Unfortunately, we do not handle the payments directly and use Stripe as our payment processor. Nor it would be legal for us to take payments and distribute them without paying taxes. Which is why …

      B) We partnered with GoFundMe and donated to the Small Business Relief Initiative. It is an initiative started by small businesses in order to help other small businesses using crowdfunding. Here are some more details: https://www.godaddy.com/garage/crowdfund-matching-grant-gofundme/

      And on top of that, we launched our own OpenWeStand initiative with resources, inspiration, and connection to other everyday entrepreneurs with creative solutions to keep their business open, even if their doors are closed due to COVID-19.

    Last few days of February I lost 100% of my new just made clients and after that in only the 3 first days of March I losted 8 of 10 of my established clients, not very lost I hope, just stopped for now…
    My bigger client has one restaurant with 20 employees and one wine shop even with one review on WSJ, I create and manage for him the online shop of the fine wine like Brunello di Montalcino, and more…
    But the wine is only 10-15% of his revenue in a year, so you understand…
    He can’t pay me now, but I already told him I’ll work on the websites for all time this problem with covid19 will last, no doubt of that!
    I will not be responsible of make close the remain little his activity he can hold open even on these strange times, money or not money.
    My work is not the problem, 40 days I’m closed inside my house, so Time is not the problem, money is.
    I am SEO specialist SEOcontent writer, marketer and webmaster now(for necessity), but programs for SEO have big monthly tags on it, the same for marketing software:
    of course, you sell and with those programs You sell more, so is a good bargain.
    But now?
    Now Your decision is the best thing I read on the internet space in the last 60 days.

    I really like this. And so do our customers. We will pay forward to them to offer extra service as started already in providing extra (free) support and using premium features without costs if needed to keep their companies online.

    I feel this is the time you can make a difference for all your clients and network. Help out and those will never forget.
    So strange I just made an extra invest to buy premium reports and performance checks just to add more value for customers. I feel rewarded now 😉 thank you. Will invest that extra in May OK?
