We’re excited to announce that ManageWP integration with SiteGround has rolled out across their entire server infrastructure.
If you have been using WordPress you probably have heard about the great job SiteGround does providing WordPress hosting. With this integration, SiteGround is able to offer its customers a one click ManageWP account activation as well as an intuitive interface for automatic adding websites to ManageWP management dashboard.
In order to use ManageWP from within SiteGround, just click the ManageWP icon in the cPanel and walk through the simple wizard to get started. You’ll be able to quickly add sites to your ManageWP dashboard as well as open it with one click.
This has all been made possible thanks to the new ManageWP account provisioning API that also comes in the form of the cPanel plugin. We are now able to offer hosting partners a seamless integration with the world’s most advanced WordPress management solution.
The first stage of the integration was to test the cPanel plugin that ManageWP had already developed. After the tests we found that some technical adjustments are needed to make our existing cPanel plugin work better on a cPanel environment and sent our feedback and recommendations to the ManageWP team. They worked closely with us and quickly implemented all our suggestions into their existing solution, which is, now even better suited and easier to integrate with other hosting providers. Once all modifications were done, the integration itself was quick and easy.
Nikolay Todorov, CTO, Siteground
We have chosen SiteGround to be our first partner as they have clearly recognized the trend in offering dedicated WordPress solutions. Over the years they have been providing top-notch support for their WordPress users, something that we at ManageWP value a lot.
SiteGround is constantly building and looking for new features and tools to make our user experience as easy as possible. ManageWP services addressed a growing need for easier management of multiple WordPress websites for our clients. With the seamless ManageWP cPanel integration we have significantly improved our end customer satisfaction. The great amount of signups and extremely fast adoption of ManageWP by our customers proves that it is a great solution for our clients needs and adds great value to our service offering.

With this announcement, SiteGround becomes the first certified ManageWP Hosting provider. In the future, we are expecting to expand our hosting partnership programme to other hosting companies that recognize the importance of providing high quality WordPress hosting.

I wouldn’t bother using ManageWP with SiteGround. It just a sales ploy to draw you in. They only offer the lowest basic plan with no option to upgrade. Unlike BlueHost who give you the full Business version and charge less for their comparable hosting plan.
I am a bit confused why they don’t let you use an upgraded plan on their platform if your willing to pay extra. Doesn’t make sense. Seems like such a simple change that would bring them more customers. Maybe they don’t know how popular and useful ManageWP is?
It’s a shame because SiteGround offers a nice platform that is far better than BlueHost. But limiting ManageWP to the basic plan is a real dealbreaker because it forces you to have yet another service outside of your arena.
When you have loads of things to do and really busy, you want everything under one roof in a tidy easy to manage package.

SiteGround does not have a special arrangement with us like Bluehost. You can use SiteGround to add websites to your ManageWP, and you can have a premium ManageWP subscription, but you don’t get any special deals.

I’m already using ManageWP with a SiteGround hosted website. I installed the ManageWP WordPress plugin about 6 months ago. How is this, or is this, any different? By the way, I really like your service, it saves time and streamlines a lot of work. Plus, with the Android app it makes on the go updates a snap.

It is not different, just allows you to add your sites to ManageWP in a quicker way.

How can I sign up as a hosting partner to offer the plugin to my clients?
jan
Does that mean if i host a website at siteground managewp is included ?
Or do i still need MWP ?
ManageWP
No, it is not the integration of that level. You will still need a ManageWP account.
Cath
Awesome. Will the migration process be included in this integration?

I think you started with a really good host for this partnership. I’ve been very please with the SiteGround accounts I’ve setup for clients recently and hope to do more with them in the future.

Thanks Jason, glad you like this!
