Before you enable White Label on individual websites, you should customize it at the account level. These settings will then be applied to all your websites when you enable the tool.
Rename ManageWP Worker plugin
You can change how the ManageWP Worker plugin is branded in the WordPress admin dashboard.
- In the top-right corner, click your avatar, then click White Label.
- In the White Label tab, under Rename Worker Plugin, enter the new Plugin name, Description, Author name, and Author URL into the corresponding fields.
- On the right, you can preview the new plugin branding in real time. This is what the plugin will look like in the WordPress admin dashboard.
- When you finish editing, click Save Changes.
If you want to have the default Worker branding displayed in the WordPress dashboard, leave everything blank and click Save Changes.
Hide ManageWP Worker plugin
Here’s how to hide the ManageWP Worker plugin from the WordPress admin dashboard. While the plugin is hidden, neither you nor your clients will be able to deactivate, reinstall, or update it from the website backend.
- In the top right corner, click your avatar, then click White Label.
- In the White Label tab, under WordPress Preview, click the checkbox next to Hide ManageWP Worker from the plugin / widget list.
- Click Save Changes.
Set up a support page
With White Label, you can set up a simple support page that will be displayed in your clients’ WordPress admin dashboards.
- In the top right corner, click your avatar, then click White Label.
- Click the Client Support tab.
- Under Support Page Options, choose one of the following options:
- Turn off support page – The support page won’t be available to your clients. This is the default option.
- Use as form with submit, e-mail sent to me – Clients will be able to see your message and send you messages through the form.
- Use as HTML text – Clients will only be able to see your message, without an option to reply or send requests.
- If you chose the second option, under Support e-mail, enter your email address.
- If you chose the second or the third option, under Pop-up introduction message, enter the message for your clients. Use HTML for formatting. You can preview the message in real time.
- Click Save Changes.
Disable user actions
Here’s how to ensure your clients won’t accidentally make changes to plugins and themes.
- In the top right corner, click your avatar and then click White Label.
- Click the Plugin & Themes Settings tab.
- Click the checkbox next to Disable the plugin & theme code editor.
- If you want to additionally restrict your clients from initiating updates and installing plugins and themes, select the checkbox next to Prevent the user from updating/installing plugins & themes within the site. This option is available only when you complete Step 3.
- Click Save Changes.
